Social Security payments are scheduled on Wednesdays based on your birthdate, while SSI (Supplemental Security Income) is usually paid at the start of the month:

  • SSI Recipients: Wednesday, April 1, 2026
  • Birth Date 1–10: Wednesday, April 8, 2026
  • Birth Date 11–20: Wednesday, April 15, 2026
  • Birth Date 21–31: Wednesday, April 22, 2026

If your payment is delayed, the SSA recommends waiting three business days before contacting them.
